Dr. Boukerrou and his co-author’s book on the evolution, priorities, and strategies of the Algerian university system received a rave review by “El Watan”, the number one daily newspaper in Algeria.  The book, a collaboration between faculty members from three countries (US, Algeria, and France), describes the evolution of the Algerian university system since the country’s independence, discusses priorities, and proposes recommendations to address the challenges that the Algerian universities face.
